If you have MDF Medium Density Fireboard you can also use it instead of plywood. Now its time to rip down the board. At the time of ripping it needs to be half-inch from the end of the boards wider side.

Place the clamped board onto the stand. Mark the ripping line. Then clamp it properly on the sole to make sure the blade can easily pass through the piece.
